About MetaLaunch

Students don't fall behind because they aren't capable.

They fall behind because the help they needed arrived too late, from someone who didn't have the full picture, using a tool that forgot last week's conversation. We're fixing the context problem.

Why we built this

Riya's story

A composite, not a case study: the kind of student MetaLaunch is built for.

At sixteen

The application

Riya was sixteen when she decided she wanted to study abroad. Not because her parents pushed her. Because she'd read about a program in London that sounded exactly like the thing she wanted to do with her life, something between economics and public policy, and for one afternoon she let herself believe it was possible.

Then she started reading the requirements. Personal statement. Tests. Teacher references. Extracurriculars. Essays. Each item seemed to assume she'd been preparing for it since she was twelve.

She found a counselor through a friend. The counselor was good, the kind who asked the right questions and helped Riya understand what her story actually was. They spent three months on the personal statement alone.

Draft seven was the one that finally felt honest.

At twenty

The placement season

She got in. And what she didn't know, sitting in a seminar room in London, was that the counselor who helped her had left the firm six months later. All those sessions, all that context about her family and her interest in land rights: gone, on a hard drive somewhere. When her younger brother went to the same firm two years later, they started from scratch. He paid the same. He got less.

Back in India for a semester at a partner college in Pune, Riya walked straight into placement season. Her resume lived in a folder labeled "RESUME FINAL v7 USE THIS ONE". Placement ran on a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group: one officer, two hundred students, forty companies.

She was shortlisted for a consulting drive and found out three days late, because the message went to the wrong group. She had twelve hours to prepare, not three weeks. She got through anyway, because she was good. Most students don't.

At twenty-five

The next chapter

She's been working for two years now. She still has that folder, and the essay that got her in, saved in a subfolder called "old stuff". She doesn't remember her counselor's name.

The Riya who goes through MetaLaunch is not a different person. Same intelligence, same ambition, same complicated family. But her story doesn't live on a hard drive. It lives in a Profile that travels with her: to placement season, to her first job, to whatever she wonders about next.

Because the person you were at sixteen is still part of who you are at twenty-five, and the choices you make at twenty-five should know that.

What we believe

Three rules we build by

Facts come only from you
Our AI reframes your story for each audience. It never invents a number, a title or an outcome. When something is missing, it asks.
You own your record
Export everything, delete your account, hide entries and choose who sees what. Ownership that you can actually use.
Students first
Institutions and recruiters use MetaLaunch too, but we never build for them at the student's expense.

Who we are

MetaLaunch Labs builds MetaLaunch: one record of everything a student has done, and the help to tell that story to whoever is listening, from an admissions reader to a recruiter to a future employer.

Every other tool serves one person at one moment. Students stitch the rest together with documents, chat groups and emailed PDFs. We think the student's record should be the permanent thing, owned by them, and everyone who helps them should work from it.

We're launching in India first, with students and university placement teams.
