Terms of use

MetaLaunch is run by MetaLaunch Labs (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us for using the MetaLaunch website at metalaunchlabs.com and the app at app.metalaunchlabs.com (together, “MetaLaunch”).

By creating an account or using MetaLaunch, you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice.

You must be 18 or older to buy anything on MetaLaunch.

If you are under 18, you may use MetaLaunch only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. A parent or guardian must make any purchase.

If your school, college or university gives you access through its placement program, its own rules for that program also apply.

You sign in with a link sent to your email address, or with Google if you choose. Keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can open your sign-in links can open your MetaLaunch account.

Give us accurate details, and tell us at ibrahim.khalil@metalaunchlabs.com if you think someone else has used your account.

One account is for one person. Don't share it or create accounts for other people without their permission.

MetaLaunch helps you keep a record of your education and experience and turn it into what you send to colleges and employers. It includes:

• your Profile and Notes, the record of what you've done and your own words about it;
• resumes, Docs (essays, statements of purpose, cover letters and more), files and folders in the Document hub;
• Applications, to track colleges, programs, scholarships and jobs with their deadlines;
• Skills, expert-written guides that suggest improvements for a specific target;
• connections to an AI Assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT.

Your Profile, resumes, Docs and Applications are free. Some Skills are paid, as described below. We may change, add or remove features over time.

Everything you add to MetaLaunch stays yours. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display it only as needed to run MetaLaunch for you: to save it, show it to you and to people you share it with, generate your resumes and PDFs, and run the Skills and Assistant features you choose.

You can export your data or delete it, as described in the privacy notice.

You are responsible for what you add. Only add content you have the right to use, and don't add other people's personal information without their permission.

Skills and connected Assistants suggest how to phrase and present your experience. They work only from facts you give us; when a fact is missing, they ask you rather than make one up.

Suggestions can still be wrong. Review every change before you use it. You are responsible for what you submit to a college, employer or anyone else, including that it is true.

Essays, statements of purpose and recommendations must be your own work (or your recommender's). MetaLaunch coaches; it does not ghost-write. Follow the rules of each institution you apply to.

MetaLaunch helps you prepare. It does not guarantee an admission, scholarship, interview, job offer or any other result, and nothing on MetaLaunch is legal, immigration or financial advice.

Paid Skills are bought one at a time, on a Plan:

• Sprint: 7 days and 20 runs, on the version of the Skill you bought.
• Pro: 90 days with unlimited runs within fair use (up to 50 runs a day), always on the latest version.

Upgrading from Sprint to Pro credits the unused part of your Sprint. Each Skill's price is shown in Indian rupees (₹) on its page before you pay.

Payments are processed by Razorpay, in rupees, for buyers in India. We don't see or store your card or bank details. Refunds work as set out in our cancellation and refunds policy, and how you receive a purchase in our delivery policy.

A Skill gives you the right to use it inside MetaLaunch for the length of your Plan. The text of a Skill stays on our servers; you receive the suggestions it produces. Don't copy, resell or try to extract a Skill.

Purchases are made on the MetaLaunch website only, never inside an Assistant.

When you connect an Assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, you choose to let it read and change your MetaLaunch data, within the access you approve on the consent screen. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings.

Those Assistants are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. What you type into them, and what they do with it, is governed by those terms, not ours.

MetaLaunch and its Skills mention universities, programs and companies by name only to describe what a Skill or template is for. MetaLaunch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

Don't use MetaLaunch to:

• break the law, or submit false or misleading information to a college, employer or anyone else;
• upload content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is abusive, harmful or unlawful;
• access accounts or data that aren't yours, probe or overload our systems, or get around limits and fair use;
• scrape, copy or resell MetaLaunch, its Skills or its content.

You can stop using MetaLaunch at any time and ask us to delete your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or MetaLaunch at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

We work to keep MetaLaunch available, accurate and secure, but we provide it as it is and can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything important.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed deadline or a lost opportunity, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law that can't be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a problem, contact us first at ibrahim.khalil@metalaunchlabs.com and we'll try to resolve it. Any dispute that remains is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for changes that matter we'll tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using MetaLaunch after that, the new terms apply.
